iDEAL

iDEAL is the bank-redirect scheme used by virtually every Dutch consumer-facing bank and accounts for a majority of e-commerce in the Netherlands. The buyer picks their bank from a list, authenticates with that bank's normal mobile-app or web login, and approves the transfer. Parapay receives a final settlement state within seconds and surfaces the cleared payment in the dashboard. As a push payment, iDEAL does not carry card chargebacks; refunds are issued through the merchant's bank as a separate credit transfer.
