Boleto Bancário is a Brazilian voucher with a barcode and a fixed due date. The buyer can pay it in cash at any bank branch, at lottery houses, or through online banking — making it one of the few payment methods accessible to the unbanked segment of the Brazilian market. Parapay generates the boleto at checkout and surfaces payment status (issued, paid, expired) via standard webhooks. Settlement lands in BRL on the boleto's clearing window, typically T+1 to T+2 business days.
